General Instructions for authors:
- Tanta Scientific Nursing Journal (TSNJ) welcomes original scientific nursing contributions from all nursing researchers all over the world.
- Previously published articles or articles under publication elsewhere are not accepted for publication in TSNJ.
- Scientific research ethical approval must be attached with the research article.
- A copy of plagiarism report including the percentage must be provided with the article.
- Articles must have a structured abstract not more than 250 words and keywords.
- The article must include: Background , Aim, Subjects & Method, Results ( including illustrated tables and figures ), Discussion, Conclusion & Recommendations.
- Issues/ year: Quartile publication. Four issues per year (February - May - September & November) supplemental issues can be added to the original issues as needed accordingly.
Submission:
Follow the process of submission in the journal website from submit a manuscript – submit a new manuscript.
General Rules:
Original research articles,
- Articles should be type-written in English language.
- Font: 14, times new Romans.
- Paragraph Spacing: 1.5 spaces.
- Heading: Font 16 Bold, Sub heading: Font 14 Bold.
Peer review process
- All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal.
- Initially accepted papers are sent to independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper.
- Blinded manuscript (no author details): such as the authors' names or affiliations must not be included in the article.
- The Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles. The Editor's decision is final.
- The published article must contain title page (with author details) including the title, authors' names, affiliations, e-mail address and contact details of the corresponding author.
- Proofreading is submitted to authors for final revision and send back to editors for final publication.
References writing guidelines:
- The journal follows the APA reference writing style (Manual of Style 7thEdition).
- Author(s). Note: List each author's last name and initial as Author, A. A., Author, B. B., & Author, C. C. Use an ampersand (&) before the final author's name.
- (Year ) year of publication.
- Title of the article. Note: For works that are part of a greater whole (e.g. articles, chapter), use sentence case. Only the first word of the title and subtitle and proper nouns are capitalized.
- Title of the Journal, Note: Italicize and capitalize each word in the journal.
- Volume Note: Italicize the journal volume. If there is no issue, include a comma before the page range.
- (Issue), Note: If there is an issue number in addition to a volume number, include it in parentheses ( ).
- Page range. Note: If there is no page range within the journal volume/issue, this can be excluded.
- DOI (Digital Object Identifier) .

Publication Fee:
- B: payments should be done at the time of submitting the proofs.
- Manuscript submission, processing and publication charges 2000 Egyptian pounds for Egyptian and 200 $ for foreigners for 20 pages, 50 pounds must be paid for each extra page.
